Relative pitch - The term relative pitch may denote:
Register (music) - In music, a register is the relative "height" or range of a note, set of pitches or pitch classes, melody, part, instrument or group of instruments. A higher register indicates higher pitch.
Tone deaf - A person who is tone deaf lacks relative pitch, the ability to discriminate between notes. Thus one who is tone deaf is unable to accurately discriminate between musical notes and is thus also incapable of reproducing them.
Pitch shifter - A pitch shifter is an audio processor that changes the pitch of an audio signal. Originally marketed by Eventide as the Harmonizer effects processor, advances in digital signal processors soon made higher-quality pitch shifting and harmonic pitch shifting possible.
